Joachim Svensmark, born in Berkeley, California in 1989, has actively been playing music since his early childhood, playing in venues all across Denmark.

Most recently, he joined Thorbjørn Risager and the Black Tornado, with whom he tours all over Europe, and with whom he has made two records. This is where he met the trios newest addition Søren Bøjgaard, who plays the bass in TR&TBT. Together with Troels Drasbæk on drums, they form a powertrio that performs original songs written by Joachim.
